Indians can now hold their heads high as one of their own has become an integral part of the World's largest Internet company- Google!
Andy Rubin, the creator of the world's most used mobile Operating System- Android, stepped down and handed the reigns of the "Little Green Bot" to IIT Kharagpur Graduate, Sundar Pichai. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Android, Chrome and Google apps at Google.
Instrumental in the creation of the Google Chrome browser Chrome OS, Pichai now plans to integrate Android and Google Operating Systems into one Universal OS that can run on all Google and affiliated devices. Andy Rubin, founder of Android Inc. who sold the company to Google in 2004 has complete faith that Pichai will carry the company forward and pull more users.
