The HTC Inspire 4G- Giving you 4Gs of Pleasure

The Inspire 4G is another 4G ready smartphone packing smart, contemporary looks from HTC's lineup.
In this review, I'll be critically analyzing the HTC Inspire 4G on the basis of design, build quality, functionality and pricing after which I will give a final verdict.

Design- The HTC Inspire 4G is well designed, sporting a large 4.3 inch Super LCD touchscreen with a good resolution of 480x800 pixels which makes even the smallest of texts to appear crisp and clear. It has 4 capacitive navigation buttons namely- Home, Menu, Back and Search. You have a volume rocker on the left side and a dedicated power button on the top. At the back is an 8MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash. Unfortunately, we could not find any sort of front facing camera on the device.

Build Quality- Considering the choice of materials by the manufacturer, the Inspire 4G is built like a tank. It is constructed out of a single piece of aluminium. Don't confuse this with the term unibody; there are some panels which can be removed which give access to the sim card and micro SD card slots and the battery. The Inspire's screen is protected by tough and durable Corning Gorilla glass.

Functionality- The Inspire 4G is powered by a 1GHz Scorpion Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; all tasks run smoothly and navigation through different tasks is effortless. It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo(sorry guys.......no Gingerbread for this phone ) and functions on the HTC Sense user interface. Nothing different about the interface(all HTC devices use Sense); it is user friendly and can be extensively customized. The web browser of the Inspire supports HTML and Flash, giving the PC-like user experience. Its 4G connection enables fast internet browsing and streaming videos on YouTube. The 8MP camera at the back shoots some good images. The Inspire needs a front facing camera, given it is a 4G phone and it should have the ability to make video calls. It has an on board memory of 4 Gigabytes and a micro SD card slot through which its memory can be expanded up to 32 Gigabytes. The Inspire is also a global phone,i.e., it can operate using sim cards from every network provider in the world.

Pricing- The HTC Inspire 4G is well priced at $320(USD). It is available on contract with the US carrier at&t mobile for only $100(USD). We actually thought that HTC could have put a front facing camera and increased the price a bit so that the Inspire become a complete 4G smartphone.

The Verdict- Overall, packing sleek looks, armored like a tank with its aluminium construction and its stunning price tag, the HTC stands to impress anyone who comes across it. You can put in a couple of dollars and get the phone upgraded to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. If you really want a front facing camera, try out the HTC DROID Incredible 2 which costs $100(USD) more both at market price and on contract.

Hope this review was resourceful and helps you buy your HTC Inspire 4G. If you want to buy the HTC Inspire 4G right away, you can buy it from our 100% safe Amazon portal.
